MY EXPERIENCE AT IITR
My journey at IIT Roorkee began with a whirlwind of excitement and exploration, making my first semester an unforgettable experience filled with fun, learning, and growth. As I stepped onto this vibrant campus, I was eager to dive into everything it had to offer, and I was not disappointed.

One of the highlights of my first semester was the renowned cultural fest, Thomso. The energy during those four nights was electric, especially during the pro-nites, where talented artists captivated us with their performances. The opening night featured a Silent DJ, an experience I had always wanted to try. It was amazing to see everyone dancing with headphones on, creating a unique and immersive atmosphere. This festival not only showcased incredible talent but also brought students together, making it a memorable part of my introduction to campus life.

NOT JUST FEST
In addition to cultural events, my involvement in sports enriched my experience significantly. Participating in the NSO trials for table tennis was a thrilling challenge. It allowed me to compete against skilled players, from whom I learned a lot. The spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship on display was inspiring, and it deepened my appreciation for discipline and collaboration.
THE LATE NIGHT STROLLS
Late-night walks around campus were another aspect of my first semester that I cherished. Coming from a place where such freedom was rare, I found great joy in roaming the safe, beautifully lit pathways of the IIT Roorkee campus. These nocturnal adventures allowed me to connect with friends on a deeper level as we shared stories about our lives, dreams, and experiences. It was a time of reflection and bonding, helping us form lasting friendships.

The food scene on campus deserves a special mention. I took it upon myself to explore every canteen, eager to try new dishes and discover the best offerings at each place. Each meal was an adventure in itself, and the variety kept my culinary curiosity alive. From spicy snacks to comforting desserts, each canteen had something unique to offer, making every visit a delightful experience.
As I navigated through these exciting experiences, I also began exploring various tech clubs on campus. This exploration opened new avenues for learning and collaboration, aligning with my academic interests and goals. Engaging with like-minded individuals in these clubs has inspired me to delve deeper into my field of study, fostering both personal and professional growth.
